The planning proposal is to make a ‘mini neighbourhood’ within the larger Blaricum sector plan B. The quality manual also ensures large-scale cohesion. The mini-neighborhood comprises a mix of 5 home types with a total of 23 homes. Choices can be made. Giving repeated types their own color and material palette strengthens both the cohesion between the different types and the individual character of each block.
We have focused a lot of attention on land division to reach an optimum mix. Cars can be parked on each plot or in the designated parking spaces, so that the street view is car-free. The troubled housing market makes it difficult to predict whether we have achieved the ideal mix. That is why we have already prepared possible plan changes, enabling us to be flexible, while also safeguarding cohesion.
